David McAree the founder of Ochil Timber Products has been in the timber trade for over 50 years. Initially he was involved in the importing and merchandising of timber where he noticed the potential of trussed rafters as a building medium. He is experienced in all aspects of truss manufacture. Since his semi-retirement in 1996, he has become a valued consultant to the company.

Andrew McAree joined the company in 1978 and has been the main force behind most of Ochil Timber Products ability to move with market changes. Andrew is also responsible for the supply and fit projects undertaken by Ochil Timber.

All our designers are trained to establish customer requirements, process their enquiries and receive customer orders. We believe a far better service is provided when the individual designer follows through a tender from estimation to final designs for the factory floor. The team consists of;
